1102: C++ Developer

We are looking for a C++ Developer in our Chicago office. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of our high-frequency trading system. We are looking for candidates who are searching for an opportunity to make a real impact, deliver value, and work within an experienced team.
Responsibilities:

Implement, test, and deploy trading system features and tools according to business needs

Ensure continued robustness and quality of the system

Diagnose, debug, and address issues when they occur

Investigate improvements to the trading system

Monitor updates to the os, libraries, and frameworks utilized

Monitor overall performance and expected operation of the trading system

Ensure bugs that require immediate fixes or deployed appropriately

Market data and research resource utilization, data issues, etc.

Qualifications:

Up to 4 years experience

Foundational Computer Science

Familiarity with C++, particularly data structures

Working knowledge of Python

Exceptional problem solving

Comfort with Linux environment and tools such as git and Docker

Thorough knowledge of common third-party libraries (STL, boost, etc.)

Desire to learn or gain more knowledge of futures or options markets

Strong understanding of interaction between hardware and software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
