Responsibilities
The Trading System DevOps Engineer is central to the operations of our global trading and risk management operation. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the trading system environments. This includes, deploying and configuring production software and systems, creating, and maintaining automation tools and monitoring live systems. The DevOps engineer is also the first level of support to our in-house traders. This involves building and maintaining an understanding of our trading systems from a business perspective as well as the needs of our in-house users. Our DevOps team maintains a 24/5 rotation for on-call support, although the evening calls are infrequent. The ability to work and communicate clearly with other technical and non-technical team members including traders is a must.
