Software developer will design, engineer and imple

Software developer will design, engineer and implement trading software in C++ and Java. You will work in close collaboration with research teams to architect, implement and analyze new automated electronic trading algorithms. Software developer will play a key role in building and engineering software infrastructure to support new and existing lines of business. Additionally, the developer will expand proprietary research platform to support new exchanges, products and functionality.

Qualifications:

Superior ability to write in C++ (preferred), Java, or other statically-typed imperative programming language

Preferred degree in any mathematics, science, or computing related area (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or physics)

If non-mathematics, science, or computing related area degree, candidate must have extensive professional development experience

Strong ability to implement technical solutions

Well-versed in the fundamentals of software engineering

Candidate must be excited about solving technical problems

Comfortable operating across many layers of abstraction

Able to work autonomously

Strong knowledge of the details of computing all throughout the technical stack

Professional programming experience of two to three years preferred but not strictly necessary

Experience in the trading industry useful but not mandatory
