Our client is looking for Quantitative Developer with strong Python systems and platform development experience to help implement, support, and own the compute grid infrastructure. In this role, you will work with researchers and developers to support code that is running in production system and take new strategies into production.

Responsibilities:

Work with team members to implement, support, and scale hybrid in-house/cloud-based high performance compute grid.

This role requires experience with grid compute, big data processing using Python, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver in the following key areas:

Work with quantitative researchers to leverage computation framework and grid for their research.

Assist in development improvements and support of proprietary Python based computation framework.

Required Skills:

Grid computing Experience using frameworks such as Mesos and Docker.

Python Systems knowledge and infrastructure development skills; Working knowledge of Pandas / Numpy libraries.

Linux Intermediate-level experience working with Linux operating systems including interpreter and command line.

Computer science degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Core Java experience, NOT REQUIRED

Experience with AWS / git / iPython / TeamCity, NOT REQUIRED
