UI Software Developer will work with other develop

UI Software Developer will work with other developers on the team in the creation of trading and risk systems which are used on a global basis. The UI Software Developer is intended to take ownership of our existing UI platform and enhance it. UI Software Developer will need pre-existing expertise to create, maintain and enhance such systems to support clients growing business. The UI Software Developer in this role will be able to take on responsibilities only limited by their abilities and will be able to work with a fair degree of independence. The ability to work and communicate clearly with other technical and non-technical team members including traders is a must.

Required:

Minimum of three years of UI work experience during which you developed a sense of design

Win Form UI development required

Solid knowledge and recent experience with C# required

SQL knowledge required

Willingness to own products and take responsibility for their support

Ability to take on projects and operate with minimal oversight

Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science preferred, alternatively substantial project experience would be considered in conjunction with different degrees, or in lieu of a degree if work experience is closely aligned to the needs of this role

Desired:

User interface programming experience preferred

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred

Proactive communication and working style

Sharp critical thinking skills, sound judgment and decision making ability, and both the ability and willingness to clearly articulate your ideas

Proven ability to work in a fast-pace environment where the client is always first

An inherent sense of the value of collaboration

The ability to work both collaboratively and independently and to see the value of both in an iterative development process
