Responsibilities

Development, delivery, and support of low-latency trading applications and front-ends

Ownership of the entire project life-cycle including communication with quants and traders to gather requirements and provide real-time support

Collaborative development with other members of the technology team

Acquisition of a working knowledge of financial markets and options market making

Collection, management, and analysis of large data sets

Qualifications

Exceptional problem solving ability

Desire to work at the cutting edge of low-latency systems and quantitative finance

BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math from a top program

software development experience with C++ or C#

Understanding of design patterns and architectural best practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure trading environment

Varied skill set and desire to work on disparate challenging problems

Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Prefer working knowledge of multi threaded programming and socket programming

Prefer database experience

Prefer knowledge of financial markets (stocks, options, futures & commodities) in a volatility based domain
