Our client is proprietary option market-making firm is seeking DevOps Engineer.

Vet new releases and coordinate roll out processes

Research and diagnose software issues

Care for mission-critical hardware and software infrastructure

Support a highly sophisticated trading system

Interface with third-party vendors – manage upgrades and transitions

Requirements:

Desire to work at the cutting edge of low-latency systems and quantitative finance

Exceptional problem solving ability

Prefer database experience

Varied skill set and desire to work on disparate challenging problems

An understanding of financial markets and market making – experience as a trader is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure trading environment

BS in a quantitative discipline

Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Prefer knowledge of financial markets (stocks, options, futures & commodities) in a volatility based domain

Minimum of 5 years industry experience
