Our client is proprietary option market-making firm is seeking Hardware Engineer, Verilog.

Responsibilities:
Collaborative development with other members of the technology and trading team
Development, delivery, and support of ultra-low-latency trading hardware

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of hardware development experience with Verilog
  • Desire to work at the cutting edge of low-latency systems and quantitative finance
  • Experience in the Xilinx UltraScale+ ecosystem
  • Exceptional problem solving ability
  • Understanding of design patterns and architectural best practices
  • Prefer working knowledge of multi threaded programming and socket programming
  • Varied skill set and desire to work on disparate challenging problems
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math from a top program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure trading environment
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
