Senior Web Application Developer will serve as the

Senior Web Application Developer will serve as the technical expert for all web development and direct firm wide architecture and design. The successful candidate should have a strong sense of good software design, an eye for aesthetics, and an interest in finance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain key feature sets of the platform using industry proven design patterns, methods, and technologies

Provide architecture leadership, design, and implementation for responsive applications across our trading, risk management, and research businesses

Research and prototype new front-end technologies, tools, and visualization techniques

Facilitate testing and deployment of new features across multiple teams

Focus on developing responsive and low latency components for large data set applications

Work with the quantitative research team to develop innovative and intuitive data visualization tools

Experience:

5+ years of experience developing interactive front-end web applications

Proven track record of full stack development including HTML5, CCS3, JavaScript

Experience with frameworks such as Node.js, React, Material UI and Spring Boot

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proven ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously

Trading industry experience preferred

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Ability to perform server side development

Ability to write applications using languages such as Python or Java

Experience with Postgres or other relational databases

Ability to work in a collaborative, nimble and fast paced environment
