1238: Network Engineer

Our client is looking for Network Engineer to join their expanding trading firm.
Requirement:

Architecting, implementing, and operating large scaleHPC, Infrastructure and Parallel file systems.

High Throughput / low latency Network solutions such as Infiniband and 100GbE / 40 GbE /10GbE. Experience with Juniper and Mellanox networks is preferred not required.

Schedulers such as UGE (SGE), SLRUM, PBS, and LSF

Cluster management tools such as Bright Computing, Rocks, OpenHPC

Parallel File systems such as Lustre, Spectrum Scale (GPFS)

Be comfortable working in datacenters and server rooms large and small during buildouts

Present a confident, calm demeanor, critical thinking

Be currently authorized (or will soon be authorized) to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Additionally, a successful candidate will likely bring several areas of expertise listed below:

Cross-platform system administration experience, including user authentication in a mixed

Networking experience and advanced switch configuration

Scripting experience : Perl, python, bash, ksh, and/or PowerShell

Experience with data collection,log analysis as well as performing root cause analysis,

Experience with reporting and monitoring tools.

Experience working closely with various vendors on resolving performance and other critical bugs.

Architect the design and implementation of Linux-based HPC, Infrastructure and Parallel file system servers and clusters.

Design and maintain a multi-petabyte distributed storage system

Optimize resource utilization and job scheduling

Analyze performance issues at scale

Troubleshoot node-level issues, such as kernel panics and system hangs

Propose new solutions and argue for their inclusion

Monitor installation of software releases, patches of the operating system, and third-party utilities with emphasis on overall system security
